Why book this class?

Feel good about booking: all profits go to Charity, a community arts project called HAUS OF, which provides art classes to London’s most vulnerable groups.

HAUS OF partner with local charities so that they can provide vulnerable people with arts classes that help them stay on the right track. Whether that’s dealing with addiction, staying off the street, finding safety from violence or healing mental illness, HAUS OF use what they know about the healing nature of art to help people feel empowered. If you’re passionate about helping with HAUS OF, please get in touch!

About the Tutor

Rachel is an abstract ceramicist who runs the ceramics for HAUS OF, her community arts project. From a very young age Rachel began working with clay with her father who was a potter for many years. Rachel is passionate about the arts and has an experimental eye for sculpture and homeware. Rachel holds a BSc in Broadcast Journalism and a MA in International Politics and Human Rights. Coming from a background of charity and government work, Rachel is ready to explore a more grassroots solution to tackling London’s most pressing problems. She believes art gives people back their dignity and helps people realise the beauty in life through the mindfulness artistic work requires.
