Do you…
- ruin a great t-shirt and wonder what to do with it
- think about recycling it in a fun and fashionable way
- hate waste
We’ve all been there… Our favourite t-shirts are no longer fit for the purpose for which we originally bought them, but we can’t bear to throw them away. Thankfully Toyah has devised a workshop which gives us an easy solution. It is fun and suitable for anyone aged five or older (mind you: it’s best if the parents of any 5 and 6 year olds stays with them)
In this two hour workshop you learn how to turn your t-shirt into yarn and create a new accessory. You’ll give
- Your t-shirt a new lease of life
- Learn ways to recycle your wardrobe
- Have a positive impact on climate change
Ever felt the urge to design it yourself? Now is your chance.
Bring one of your old t-shirts and join Toyah and her helpers for a creative fashion-based workshop. She’ll teach you how to up-cycle using
- no-cost/low-cost techniques
- creative skills
- accessible tools, equipment and resources
- thriftiness
Don’t delay, book your place in our first Ealing Sewn Up workshop.
