Making Space with Usva Inei is a creative workshop in association with the Finding Space Exhibition.

Join us for a gentle evening of creation in a safe space. Using various art media and repurposed materials, we will be exploring what makes us feel safe and how we can create spaces that allow us to feel safe.

No experience needed, all skill levels welcome!

Open to all over 18 identifying as women and non-binary.

£10 per ticket (includes materials and light refreshments)

Your Workshop leader is Usva Inei.
Usva Inei is a queer, non-binary visual artist, mainly working with topics of lived experiences of immigration and queerness. They primarily work through mixed media installations, with painting and printmaking being central elements of their practice. Usva’s work is critical, political, and feminist, exploring such themes, as identity politics, acculturation, normative structures, and the role of physical space in directing behaviour. Usva is a Finnish-born Russian immigrant, currently based in London, UK.

We’ve 20 places for this unique workshop; so please book your spot early to avoid disappointment.

We look forward to seeing you at Making Space with Usva Inei.
