Do you…

  • ruin a great t-shirt and wonder what to do with it
  • think about recycling it in a fun and fashionable way
  • hate waste

We’ve all been there… Our favourite t-shirts are no longer fit for the purpose for which we originally bought them, but we can’t bear to throw them away. Thankfully Toyah has devised a workshop which gives us an easy solution. It is fun and suitable for anyone aged five or older (mind you: it’s best if the parents of any 5 and 6 year olds stays with them)

In this Ealing Sewn Up workshop you learn how to recycle your t-shirt by turning it into yarn and creating a new accessory. You’ll give

  • Your t-shirt a new lease of life
  • Learn ways to recycle your wardrobe
  • Have a positive impact on climate change

Ever felt the urge to design it yourself? Now is your chance.

Bring one of your old t-shirts and join Toyah and her helpers for a creative fashion-based workshop. She’ll teach you how to up-cycle using

  • no-cost/low-cost techniques
  • creative skills
  • accessible tools, equipment and resources
  • thriftiness

You’ll increase your

  • individuality
  • creative flare
  • confidence
  • self esteem
  • sense of pride and achievement
  • ability to utilise waste resources

So don’t delay, book your place on our T-shirt; Yarn; Accessory workshop at the Jasmine Community Centre.
