Edmond Terakopian is an multi-award winning photographer and film maker with over thirty years’ experience and an impressive international reputation.

With around 60 awards and nominations for his photography and film making, he has an impressive client list including some of the biggest names in the industry and is also a member of the Ealing branch of London Independent Photographers. He has exhibited in numerous solo and group shows in nearly 90 cities worldwide. He has also been published in numerous books. Edmond has been named the British Press Awards Photographer of the Year and has won third place in the Spot News category of the prestigious World Press Photo contest.

Starting as a news photographer, Edmond’s areas of interest and expertise are wide ranging. He is also a writer on photography and photographic equipment and has been invited to judge several photographic competitions of note, including the British Press Awards, Russian Press Photographer Of The Year, Press Photographers’ Association of Ireland annual competition, the RAF Photographic Competition and the Metropolitan Police Historical Society’s Photographic Competition.

Edmond is a tutor of many years standing at both professional and amateur level; he was a former tutor at the prestigious Leica Akademie in Mayfair. Edmond was the only European member of Apple’s Aperture Advisory Committee, a former brand ambassador for Olympus, an Adobe Influencer and works with Panasonic Lumix UK as an expert. He has given talks for Apple, Canon, Leica, Nik Software, Olympus, SnapperStuff and Panasonic Lumix and regularly holds group and bespoke one-to-one workshops.
