The Online Art Club with Sheila Moylan is ideal if you are shielding, or prefer to have the convenience of art tuition from your own home.
Sheila Moylan has run a successful art class through the lockdown for OPEN Ealing covering a variety of subjects, topics and drawing techniques. She continues to run the class, managing it directly using Zoom pro.
The class is loosely based
around a weekly theme for those who are not sure how to start. Students will receive emailed handouts on each topic. The Online Art Club is flexible to allow participants to work on their own projects, if they prefer. Sheila is able to assist and guide you, if required.
This class is for adults at all levels and is designed to be fun and inclusive. Each class is booked and paid for in advance directly to Sheila. The fee is £10 per session. Please email her to express your interest minstrelharp12@yahoo.com

July 23 : Advanced pencil techniques – How to get the most from your pencil whatever you draw
July 30 : Let the sunshine in – Capturing summer light and colour in your work.
Aug 6 : Self portrait in the style of – Make a self portrait in the style of your favourite artist
Aug 13 : Imaginative composition – Support in creating a finished artwork all your own.
Aug 20 : Materials workshop – How to use the materials you have at home and what to purchase.
Aug 27 : Finishing those half done works with support.
About the tutor
Sheila Moylan has a B.A. (Hons) Fine Art Sculpture and Psychology from UEL where she focused on body casting and self portraiture graduating in 1995. She has worked creatively with young people for most of her career mainly in schools at one point running an alternative programme to GCSE in Richmond making art the main subject. Since 2015 has worked within Ealing running art classes for adults with learning difficulties for local charity Artification and for the last year has successfully run Life Drawing classes at OPEN Ealing including piloting a Life Drawing for Beginners and Sculpture for Beginners class and childrens classes. Her approach is inclusive supportive and encouraging to even absolute beginners.
She has exhibited her work at Slaughterhouse Gallery Smithfield, Orleans House Gallery Richmond and more recently the W3 Gallery in Acton, but mainly works on commission.
She is also a musician, harpist and singer performing at small venues in and around London.
