Class details
Join us for a NEW workshop where you design and make a glass tile. Tabitha Neal leads this one day workshop which is suitable for all levels of experience.
Wednesday
15 March
10.30am – 4.30pm
Workshop Fee includes all materials :
Fee : £75 (£65 for those who are retired and £50 for other concessions)
During the day you will develop your own designs for a coloured glass applique tile. Once you’re happy with the design you will develop your visual idea and transfer them into glass piece by piece. Then you score, cut, stick and grout the tile.
Applique is a form of collage using materials that can be fixed together such as fabric or glass as in this workshop.
Your finished tile will measure 15 x 10cm; a lovely size for a table mat or decorative panel.
You don’t need any experience to design and make a glass tile. Everyone is welcome to come and give it a try.
We provide light refreshments throughout the day, but please bring your lunch. Or you could visit our neighbouring cafes in Dickens Yard – there are lots to choose from.
