Join us for Ealing Extranormal Volume 1. This is the first monthly showcase for sonically adventurous experimentation and electronics in West London. It is curated by Martin Lau (www.martinlau.net) and we hope it is the first of many.

We are featuring three full-length sets; 30 minutes each.

SLATE PIPE BANJO DRAGGERS : Andy Rowe’s sound, music and performance project. The Slate Pipe Banjo Draggers current solo live incarnation uses up to twenty cassette walkmans, dictaphones and mini and micro cassette players. The sounds they create during their improvised performance come from an ever-growing collection of found and prepared tapes. on&offon&off : a collaborative performance project between artists Nikolai Kozin and Martin Lau. Nikolai creates live animated drawings accompanied by noise/soundscapes produced by Martin (electronics and flute). They improvise each element in response to the other. ILLI ADATOIlli : Adato is a hypnotherapist and his work with altered-states provides an additional layer to his sonic work. He performs and records internationally. He combines voice, field recordings, acoustic and electronic, ancient and modern instruments, low-tech and hi-tech processing to produces deeply penetrating sound, noise and frequencies.
