The Programme

We are featuring three full-length sets from

Liz Helman

As a multi-disciplinary artist, Liz has always had an interest in ambient music and sound art as a form of expression. She likes working organically and responds to place and environment. Sensitive to how these energies make her feel, she is interested in the subliminal and sonic exploration of these experiences. She begins her process with field recordings made whilst she walks the streets. You’ll find her compositions mesmerising and explore layers of sound and texture. Ivano Pecorini

He is a composer and sound artist based in London. His works move across experimental approaches and aesthetic investigations; focusing on the manipulation and mixture between field recordings, synthesis, and acoustic instruments. His body of work maintains a strong spirit of exploration and experimentation, creating unexpected electronic soundscapes. In 2018, Ivano graduated in Electroacoustic Composition at the Conservatorio Santa Cecilia in Rome. He obtained a post-graduate degree in Electronic Music Composition from the University of West London in 2019. His music has been released by Mahorka, Elan Vital, and Stochastic Resonance. Please visit Ivano’s website to learn more him and his body of work https://www.ivanopecorini.com/

Grundik Kasyansky

Grundik is a Moscow born electronic musician, based in London. He was a founding member of Israeli experimental electronic duo Grundik and Slava. The duo played an important role in the flourishing of the Tel-Aviv and Jerusalem art and music underground in the late 90s and early 00s. He collaborated with many musicians, dancers, painters and filmmakers, and released records through Matchless, Another Timbre, Takuroku, Creative Sources, Cathnor, Earsay, Fact, Auris Media, Stateart, Dromos and Linear Obsessional. He also plays in bands Теплота, Staraya Derevnya and Llull Machines. Before concentrating on electronic music he wrote poetry which influences his current practice. Since 2006 he’s been developing a customised setup, which he calls “feedback synthesizer” (a feedback/analog synthesis system).
