The Programme

In this edition we feature sets from

Cos Chapman

“I play music and make odd sounds using electronics, found objects and guitar. I studied composition using computers as a post graduate in the early 90’s. After completing that I realised that performing live music – improvising with as little pre-planned and “off the shelf” as possible – was more interesting for me and potentially more exciting for an audience.”

Psychiceyeclix

Psychiceyeclix has a fluid approach to creation. They never settle on any particular style or setup and constantly experiment with sound and visuals. They use circuit bent toys/devices & DIY electronics to create anything from glitch, drone, harsh noise to drum & bass.

Visit their website for more information

Tony Morton

”As an artist I am fascinated in how we interface and improvise with sound. It’s in this case that I enjoy creating my own unique interfaces (or instruments) using both hardware and software. My work focuses on creating, what I like to call, audio/visual systems. These systems have rules, but within those created boundaries is enough room for users to improvise and move around the program how they feel.”

Grundik Kasyansky

Kasyansky is a founding member of Israeli experimental electronic duo Grundik and Slava. They played an important role in the flourishing of the Tel-Aviv and Jerusalem art and music underground in the late 90s-early 00s.

Since 2006 he’s been developing a customised setup, which he calls “feedback synthesizer”. It’s a feedback/analog synthesis system.
