Event details
Join us at Susie Heyes’ solo exhibition, Inner Calm: A Journey Into Self. Susie is a watercolour artist based in Ealing. She is known for her atmospheric, minimalist landscapes evoking stillness and peace.

Susie’s works often feature water and symbolise freedom and simplicity. But she also creates vibrant abstract pieces exploring colour, mark-making, and texture. Her inspiration comes from many sources; the landscapes of Ealing and West London, locations across the UK and abroad and Japanese art.

Supporting Mental Health Awareness
Rediscovering art has played a vital part of Susie’s recovery from severe mental health challenges. Each brushstroke represents a step in her healing journey. Art helps her focus, calm her mind, and find purpose. Through painting, she channels emotions in a constructive and therapeutic way which provides a sense of achievement and relief from anxiety.
Susie supports the mental health charity MIND and donates a portion of her sales to them. She is particularly passionate about its Safe Space initiative. Safe Space is based at the Lido Centre in Ealing and offers an alternative to A&E for individuals in crisis. It provides a supportive environment where people can talk, express themselves through art, or simply feel secure.
