A Special Screening of 2040 at OPEN Ealing – Supporting Ealing Wildlife Group!
As part of The Nature Show exhibition, we’re excited to host a special screening of 2040 at OPEN Ealing Arts Centre. This uplifting documentary by filmmaker Damon Gameau explores real-world climate solutions that can help create a more sustainable future.

Why You Should Attend

Local Environmental and Conservation Efforts
Sean McCormack, a vet and lifelong naturalist, with a passion for wildlife conservation and education, set up EWG in 2016. Since then EWG membership has grown to over 6,000. They have initiated several community environmental projects and launched a hugely successful wildlife photography competition and public exhibition. Sign up for EWG’s newsletter HERE.

Act For Ealing was set up in the Summer of 2020 when a small group of Ealing’s community began meeting to discuss local climate action. They realised that the council’s climate strategy of net zero by 2030 could only happen with community support. Sign up for Act for Ealing’s newsletter, HERE.
LAGER Can – the Litter Action Group for Ealing Residents – was founded in 2017 by Keith Freegard, then a resident of Hanwell. Membership has climbed to 2,000 and continues to grow. LAGER Can is a very active group, with volunteers working every day independently or in groups, removing thousands of bags of rubbish, recyclables and piles of unbaggable items from our open spaces. They are often in the local news, and you can keep up to date via their blog and their dashboard – this gives a real-time update on their grime-fighting activities in numbers.
