We are proud to be hosting a group show by Paste Table Gallery (PTG) with work by over 60 analogue collage artists

Opens : Saturday 18 January 3-6pm

Artist Visits : Sunday 19 & 26 January and 2 February

Nick Cash established Paste Table Gallery in 2008 as a peripatetic micro gallery dedicated to showing analogue collage, a mini ‘white cube’ with white pegboard walls and grey ‘floor’. PTG makes an effort to show an eclectic mix of collage from the purely figurative to totally abstract. PTG eschews the digital flatness and neatness that results from computer generated work.

Analogue collage has a sculptural essence, creases and raised material contribute to its physical topography. Its cultural/political landscape depends on the choice of signifiers their placement and way they collide with other images.

Nick’s aim with this project is to curate an exhibition about collage, from the latter half of the 20th century to the present day, incorporating works that touch on the political, surreal, humorous and purely abstract. The display shows the breadth, diversity of thought and method that you can apply to the medium.
