A course to inspire your development using water based painting, led by artist and tutor Helen Trevisiol Duff.

Helen will provide a springboard to inspire your creative development using techniques which can be built on and help you explore the myriad of elements that nature brings to watercolour painting: from landscapes through to botanicals, still life and abstracted nature too.

On this structured course you will learn how to feel comfortable about using watercolour by practising structured exercises and experiment with new techniques.

Helen will not only give demonstrations of methods to help develop your own style through
this fascinating and dynamic medium, she will talk about other artists’ work in this field for inspiration. A mixed media element will be included later in the course using found materials and incorporating them into the artwork. You will be shown composition methods and how to visually edit your layout.
To support you there will be a group discussion at the end of each session to help learn from each other

The course is open to anyone who wants to learn and express themselves in a nuturing environment that celebrates their individuality.
