Fresh Art Club has organised summer workshops for everyone during the summer holidays. They have workshops for children, teens and families. Fresh Art Club provides all the materials you need for the workshops.
Workshops for 6 – 8 year olds
Wednesday 4 August 10 – 11.30am : Pablo Picasso Portraits Workshop for 6 – 8 year olds. Your child will create their own abstract portrait inspired by Spanish artist Pablo Picasso. Book a place – click on this link
Wednesday 11 August 10 – 11.30am : Watercolour Monsters Workshop for 6 – 8 year olds. Your child will create their own monster character and fill their paper with beautiful, bright watercolour. Book a place – click on this link
Workshops for 9 – 12 year olds
Thursday 29 July 10 – 11.30am : Mixed Media Plant in a Pot Workshop for 9 – 12 year olds. Your child will create their own multi media piece of art inspired by American artist Jonas Wood. Book a place – click on this link
Thursday 5 August 10 – 11.30am : Murakami Flowers Workshop for 9 – 12 year olds. Your child will create their own field of smiling flowers inspired by Japanese artist Takashi Murakami. Book a place – click on this link
Thursday 12 August 10 – 11.30am : Fiesta Llama Workshop for 9 – 12 year olds. Your child will create their own fun fiesta llama and weave a colourful pom-pom trimmed blanket. Book a place – click on this link
Workshops for 13 – 15 year olds
Tuesday 27 July 10am – 12pm : Pop Art Name Workshop for 13 – 15 year olds. Your child will create their own piece of pop art inspired by American pop artist Roy Lichtenstein. Book a place – click on this link
Tuesday 3 August 10am – 12pm : Seascape Watercolour Workshop for 13 – 15 year olds. Your child will create their own seascape taking inspiration from American artist Robin Mead. Book a place – click on this link
Tuesday 10 August 10am – 12pm : Facial Expressions Workshop for 13 – 15 year olds. Led by portrait artist Vicky Saumarez your child will learn how to create facial expressions. Book a place – click on this link
Tuesday 17 August 10am – 12pm : Still Life Workshop for 13 – 15 year olds. Your child will learn how to paint “impasto” (lots of thick paint) to create an impressionistic bottle of ketchup. Book a place – click on this link
Summer Workshops for everyone – one for the family

ABOUT THE TUTOR
Anna Bhowmick is the founder of FRESH Art Club for Children. She has a BA (Hons) Printed Textiles and Surface Pattern and has been running popular and lively art clubs for primary school children at lunchtimes and after school since 2013.
She is a qualified teaching assistant – with experience of working in both primary and high schools. Before teaching, she worked in fashion and retail focussing on the creative aspects of visual merchandising and display.
As a mum of two, Anna is great at pinpointing projects and activities that work for children of all ages. She is fully DBS-checked and is certified by St John Ambulance in Essential First Aid for children and infants.
