In this workshop you will be introduced to a range of textile processes. You will expolre hand-embroidery, applique and pom-pom making, and will go on to utilise and up-cycle discarded fabric pieces to create your own wreath inspired from Spring Wildlife/Easter.

Suitable for all abilities and ages from 8 to 16 years.

All materials and equipment are provided.

ABOUT THE TUTOR

Veronica completed her degree in Surface Pattern Design from the University of Wales in 2009 with 1st Class Honours and a Master’s Degree in Illustration from Kingston University in 2017.

Alongside her practice she has worked as an art educator and workshop facilitator for seven years, working with children aged three to adult in formal and informal settings, working with a wide range of ability levels.

Veronica’s background in textiles and illustration means that she possesses a diverse skill set and can plan and deliver engaging, insightful sessions using a wide range of media and processes.

Veronica is extremely passionate about her subject, passing on skills and helping develop participants creative thinking and ideas.
