Oil painting is often seen as intimidating, but by breaking it down into logical steps, it becomes a joyful, meditative process. This course is a “toolkit” for the modern artist, providing you with the skills to tackle any subject with confidence.
Do you want to learn the ‘secrets’ of oil painting, or have a painting project you are wanting to explore? This course is for you.
What will you discover? From the initial image transfer to the rich layers of grisaille and underpainting, you will gain a firm grasp of color theory and temperature. Whether you want to master the “secrets” of the Old Masters or need a supportive environment to explore a personal project, this course provides the technical roadmap to get you there.
“Don’t just paint what you see—broaden your methods and find your creative voice.”
