Course Fees: General £135 ; Retired £110 ; Concession £85

Limited to 12 people

This is a hands on practical course that shows you how you can use just a humble pencil to create the texture of soft skin, the hard shiny surface of glass, or how to transform a circle into a sphere that might just roll off the page! Each week Sheila will cover simple drawing projects and exercises that will help you to become familiar with basic drawing techniques.

Sheila believes everyone has the ability to draw. She understands that nerves and lack of confidence might hide your talent. She loves helping bring them out and each week she builds your confidence with her instructions and personal notes.

During this short course, you will get to grips with

  • the basic principles of mark making
  • perspective
  • shading
  • use of colour

and be ready to develop your drawing skills.

Sheila uses notes to highlight techniques and handy tips during the workshops. Once the course has ended, we shall email them to you so that you can continue your development at home, in your own time.

If you are terrified of drawing but are longing to learn, then enrol on this course with Sheila and learn how to draw.
